The Story of Bayou Bootleg

Born in the Bayou. Made for Flavor.

I was born and raised in Breaux Bridge, Louisiana — the Crawfish Capital of the World — where culture runs deep and every meal is a celebration. Our little corner of Southwest Louisiana along the Bayou Teche is a special place. Life is powered by Cajun and Zydeco music, generations of tradition, and food that speaks louder than words. We grew up with a strong sense of family, community, hard work, and always lending a hand — but we also know how to pass a good time.

In Cajun culture, we don’t eat to live — we live to eat. It’s not uncommon to be halfway through lunch while already talking about what’s for dinner. And that deep love for food, for flavor, and for sharing meals with others inspired me to create something that felt like home: Bayou Bootleg Cajun Seasoning.

Many seasonings contain a significant amount of salt. I wanted to create a seasoning that has a bold, authentic flavor — with a lot less sodium — to elevate whatever you’re cooking, not just mask it.

Whether you’re throwing a steak on the grill, pan-searing fish, making jambalaya, frying up some eggs, or seasoning popcorn for a movie night, Bayou Bootleg brings the taste of Cajun country to your table. It even kicks up your Bloody Mary or beer rim when you’re feeling festive.

Crafted from years of cooking, tasting, and Cajun culture, this seasoning is my way of bottling up everything I love about my roots — good food, good company, and a little spice to keep things interesting.

Try Bayou Bootleg, and you’ll get it.
